RTC Electronics.com offers all of our customers the ability to ship via UPS, United States Post Service, or Canada Post. Shipping rates are easily calculated based on the total weight and/or dimensions of the items in your order and that total amount is incorporated into our shopping cart application. The total shipping charges rendered by the shopping cart, reflect the courier company total shipping charges without any added surcharges. We see this as an advantage to our customers, by offering the most affordable shipping fees along the most comprehensive shipping method.
We ship the same day! Order Online before 12 Noon from Anywhere in Canada or US.
Why do we ship locally No Cross Border customs fees & international shipping delays. All United States order ship from our Niagara Falls, NY warehouse. & Canadian orders ship from our Mississauga, ON warehouse.
Determining Shipping for Items Listed for Purchase
Determining the shipping & handling costs for any item listed on our website is easy; simply add the item to your shopping cart. There is no requirement to buy. Adding item(s) to your cart will show you freight options and the associated costs for the items in your cart prior to placing the order. There is no added surprise cost for shipping after you have selected the items in your cart. You can view the shipping charges for the available shipping methods at anytime during your shopping experience by “viewing your cart”.

If any order includes cables, semiconductors, connectors, small size tools, or other small to mediom size accessories, please look at the first information box. If your order includes Bracket, Magnifying lamp, tool case/box or other large size items, you would view the second information box. All international orders use the last information box.

Oversize & Overweight Orders.
We will provide you with a personal shipping quote.
For all over sized items and beyond destination locations a Shipping Quote is Required. Once your order has been placed, you will be notified by email of the shipping rate for your approval. Once we have received your acceptance of the shipping rate, you order will be shipped once stock has been allocated to complete your order. (We will not charge your credit card until you have accepted the shipping quote.)
If your order is oversize or special order – we will contact you personally with a quote before proceeding
* PLEASE NOTE: Chemicals, Photofinishing, certain consumables and oversized items will require special shipping and handling charges, or procedures. (eg. Server & Network Cabinets, large TV Mounts, items over 50lbs)
Lost Packages, Missing Products, damaged products & Courier Claims.
In the event that the courier or shipping company has lost your package, damaged your package, or items are missing from your order you must report this to the courier or shipping company within 3 days of delivery. Also call our sales department within three days of delivery so we can open a claim. A claim cannot be started after three days from the date of delivery.
Weekends & Holidays Shipping Cut-off times.
Placing your order on the same day before 12 PM, results in same day shipping. (Subject to item availability). Monday to Thursday regular orders ships on the next business day. Orders placed on Friday after 12 PM and weekends orders, will be processed by our shipping department & shipped on the next business day (Monday). We do not ship packages on holidays, orders will be shipped on the next business day.
Lost Packages/Delayed orders.
A lost package will only be rendered lost & re-shipped once the courier or shipping company has done a complete investigation to either locate the package or issue an insurance refund to us. We are unable to issue refunds on lost packages before we establish a claim with the courier. If your order is delayed, please contact our customer service department 1-866-624-9986 us as soon as possible, so we may take the required steps to trace it. For out customers peace of mind & security, we insure all parcels we ship out.
How to avoid order processing delays
Please note: Online Orders take priority over Phone Orders as the entire order process can be efficiently managed electronically. Phone orders that require a salesperson’s assistance will normally ship the following business day. For fastest service, order online before 12:00 Noon. Phone orders may also be subject to a 2% handling fee.
(1) Accurate Shipping and Billing Information
The “Billing Information” name must be the name of the Credit Card Holder as it appears on the Credit Card. The Billing Address must be the address of the Registered Card Holder as it appears on the Credit Card Statement. The Billing Phone Number must be the phone number on file with the Credit Card Company. Any exceptions to this rule will result in delays of up to 24 hours. The “Shipping Information” must be the person to whom the shipment will be signed for when the courier arrives at your office. Or, if it is a warehouse pickup order, the Shipping Information must be the person who will be picking up the order at the warehouse.
(3) Large, Heavy, Delicate Items
Some large, heavy or delicate products may require an additional 1-2 Business Days for processing. These include Cabinets & Storage systems, large displays, projection screens, server racks. Additional handling or insurance may be required, our order processing staff will contact you.
*Please Note: All orders, regardless of the chosen shipping method, may require 1-2 business days for credit verification and order processing depending on several factors including the accuracy of billing and shipping information provided and product availability. Minimum Order Fees may apply to orders below $10. Phone orders may be subject to a 2% service fee. Same Day refers to Same Business Day (Monday to Friday). Orders are processed and shipped on business days only. Our online sale department is closed on weekends and local statutory holidays. Real-time product information is accurate to within 15 minutes and does not take into account multiple orders for a single in stock product.
Additional Information Regarding Shipping
We will ship your order from any one of our distribution centers in various areas of the country, sometimes directly from the manufacturer. Your package may not specifically say “RTCElectronics” on the box. Please do not return the package under the assumption that it is something you did not order. The method by which your package is shipped is to your advantage and was specifically designed this way to effectively get the products you have purchased at RTC Electronics directly to you in fastest way possible. How your package arrives to you will never impact the amount you were originally charged for shipping.
For your protection we add a signature service to most outgoing packages. When the courier or shipping company arrives at your home, they will want you to sign and confirm the shipment. We are unable to remove signature service from the shipment as it is documented proof that the package has arrived safely to the billing address of the credit card owner. If the package is returned to sender or unclaimed and returned back to our warehouse there will be a shipping cost incurred to you.
